Bio - Andrew Pearson

Andy specialises in coastal and underwater photography. Andy has a professional background in marine biology and coastal ecology. This includes extensive experience in both the UK and abroad including scuba diving research on coral reefs in Belize and killer whale research in the U.S. Andy has also worked as an outdoor activity instructor around the coasts of Pembrokeshire as well as a whale watching naturalist and sea kayaking expedition leader off Vancouver Island, Canada.

Andy mainly focuses on wide angle and split level 'half and half' photography using a variety of different techniques to try and obtain unique and exciting perspectives including the use of scuba diving, sea kayaking, free diving and surfing. 

Andy’s work has been used by a variety of national and international newspapers and magazines, as well as being featured by conservation organisations to help highlight various marine environmental issues.
